Who is our Partner Yoga course for?

This course is for couples, partners, friends, yoga instructors to add to their classes and anyone who enjoys or would like to try practising yoga. It’s been designed to suit all abilities: beginners, intermediate and advanced levels will all enjoy learning and connecting through this course.

What is in this course?

The course is a 1 hour long course, split into 5 chapters (Warming, Strength and Stability, Expansion, Flexibility, Sensuality). Each chapter can be practised individually. Once familiar with the moves, you can just listen to the instructions without needing to watch the screen.

In addition to the 1 hour long Partner Yoga programme, we’ve included a 30 minute version. This is faster-paced, so once you have practised and learnt the full version, you can easily enjoy the 30 minute quick course.

What should I expect from Partner Yoga?

  • Clear, easy-to-follow instructions
  • Energising warm-ups
  • Breathing and relaxation techniques
  • Long Course (1 hour sequence)
  • Short Course (1/2 hour quick practice)

Can 2 people of completely different shapes and sizes do this?

Yes, you’ll both need to play around with the positions, find what’s comfortable and what fits.

Can 2 people of different fitness levels and flexibility do this practice?

Yes, you’ll both need to play around with the positions, find what’s comfortable and what fits and we have offered some modifications.

Can a pregnant woman do this practice?

Yes, but there are some positions not recommended eg strong twists or where pressure is being applied to the belly or spine.
